The flaming lips are an amazing live band you get balloons, ticker tape, dancing aliens unfortunately after a two hour drive,parking up, getting on the train I was greeted by the news on twitter that the gig was cancelled! What!!! Yes due to illness the gig had been rescheduled for the 27th late cancellations are always a pain but even more when it's taken two and a half hrs to get to Camden!
Failing to accept this new and he fact that I had just checked in with my Oyster card went to Camden for a wander around saw the news confined at the venue
Having finally accepted the news, it was time to turn around and set off home. Listening to a guy who got a headache and accidentally saves the world in a car driving up the A1 isn't quite the same
